With over 31 years of hands-on experience in biogas technology, our senior expert has been deeply involved in the design, development, demonstration, installation, and capacity building for biogas and waste-to-energy systems across India.
He has successfully led and executed multiple large-scale biogas projects as Principal Investigator, funded by prestigious government bodies including the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), and various State Governments such as Punjab, Jharkhand, and Bihar.
He is also a Technical Expert Member on government committees responsible for the installation and evaluation of biogas projects under the GOBARDHAN Scheme, contributing technical oversight and policy-level guidance in states like Punjab, Haryana, and Bihar.
In addition to project execution, he plays a vital role in human resource development and skill enhancement in the renewable energy sector. He serves as Coordinator of the Skill Development and Training Centre for Farm Waste Management, affiliated with the Green Jobs initiative and funded by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India. Through this role, he has trained and mentored numerous professionals, technicians, and entrepreneurs in sustainable waste management and biogas implementation.
